The 2013 Soccer Tournament planning committee and team captains met at Weakley Hall on March 15 to review rosters, rules, and expanded activities for family members at this year’s soccer tournaments.
This marks the third year we will hold the tournament. Due to growing interest, we are holding two tournaments. The first tournament of 8 teams will be held on Saturday, April 13, in Merced’s Ada Givens Park (2900 Green Street, Merced). The second tournament of 8 teams will be held on Saturday, May 4, in Fairfield at Alan Witt Community Park (1741 W. Texas St., Fairfield). Both tournaments start at 9:00 AM.
In addition to soccer, we will have kids’ soccer, pi탱atas, face painting, a BBQ, and a “cook off”. All are welcome!
