Line Clearance Tree Trimmers met at Weakley Hall on Aug. 10 to continue the campaign to “Vote Yes” on the Master Agreement.

Line Clearance Tree Trimmers are reporting tremendous progress in their outreach to co-workers about the upcoming ratification vote on the Master Agreement.

Members of the “Vote Yes” Committee have held over 500 one-on-one conversations with co-workers at Asplundh, Davey, Trees Inc., Utility Tree and Wright Trees to explain the importance of the historic agreement. About 370 cards have been signed by union members indicating they plan to vote Yes.

On Aug. 10 members of the “Vote Yes” Committee met at union headquarters in Vacaville, where IBEW 1245 Business Manager Tom Dalzell emphasized the historic nature of the Master Agreement. The committee will continue its outreach in yards, at unit meetings, and two special meetings on Saturday, Aug. 25 in Fresno and Santa Rosa. Members are encouraged to attend these meetings and ask any questions you may have about the Master Agreement.

Official ballots will be mailed to members on Aug. 27. Ballots will be counted Sept. 14 at the union hall.
