The First Annual IBEW Local 1245 Sporting Clay Shoot, held June 16 in Dunnigan, CA, featured competitive shooting, a delicious barbecue lunch, plenty of cold drinks, and a lot of family fun. Trophies were awarded for the best shooting, but the real action was at the raffle table, where unionists and family members picked up some mighty sweet prizes. See the winners shown.
Thanks to some generous sponsors, and the shooters themselves, the event raised over $8,000, which will be donated to area charities.

Trees provided some welcome shade from the hot sun during the raffle, which took quite a while because there were so many dog-gone winners!

Dave Mastagni is introduced by Senior Assistant Business Manager Ron Cochran. Mastagni, whose law firm has provided counsel to many Local 1245 members over several decades, donated several prizes to the raffle, including cigars of the brand favored by John F. Kennedy.
