With sadness we, the Quadros family, announce the passing of Frank, a true hero, surrounded by family, a peaceful and natural death, at the age of 86, in Arizona.
Frank’s remains will be buried in Arlington National Military Cemetery with Honors, and Catholic service.
He was born in and raised in the Sunset District/Avenues of San Francisco and enlisted with the U S Marine Corps in 1943 with an Honorable discharge as Technical Sergeant from active duty in 1952.
Service to his country in both WW2 and Korean War includes action in Guadalcanal, B.S.I., Guam, Mariana Is., Iwo Jima, Volcano Is., Korea Inchon Landing, & Wonsan, & Seoul, North Korea active duty, as well as time served as a USMC Investigator, escorting Marines KIA to their loved ones in the States, ending his service in Treasure Is., CA., 1956
Decorations include Asiatic Pacific Medal, WW2 Medal, Purple Heart, Silver Star for extraordinary heroism and bravery, Gold Star in Lieu of second Purple Heart Medal, Korean Service Medal, Presidential Unit Citation w Star, & UN Service Medal.

Frank was a manager for PG&E and a Business Representative for IBEW Local Union 1245, where he continued his service to his fellow man until his retirement. He and his wife Frances (Fran) moved to Scottsdale, AZ, where Fran predeceased him in 2006. Surviving family include 2 brothers, Kenneth Quadros of Granite Bay, CA and Robert Quadros of Petaluma, CA., also nephews Rob and Brian, nieces Laurie Quadros Tamez, of Claremont, CA and Lisa Quadros DeLoye of Granite Bay, CA.
Donations in the memory of Frank Quadros, gratefully accepted, please direct to 3rd Marine Division, Arizona Chapter, 2429 N. 37th Way, Phoenix, AZ 85008, of which Frank was a member until his final calling home, to serve our Lord in Heaven.
