Local 1245 Business Manager Tom Dalzell has been appointed by Gov. Jerry Brown to serve on the California Citizens Compensation Commission.
The Commission sets wages and benefits for the legislature.
In announcing the appointment, Gov. Brown’s office noted that Dalzell “has served as the business manager for IBEW Local 1245 since 2006, after serving as a staff attorney from 1981 to 2006. He worked in the labor division for the United Farm Workers from 1972 to 1980.”
The Commission pays $100 per diem and generally meets once a year.
