The City of Healdsburg is currently hiring for three IBEW 1245-represented positions:
Senior Electric Engineering Technician
The Senior Electric Engineering Technician who will be responsible for performing a wide range of sub-professional engineering and administrative duties including: planning, engineering design, project review, budgeting and management, labor and material estimates and complex phases of construction cost estimating. The incumbent has lead responsibility in planning, design and review of special and major development projects and has
responsibility for the development and implementation of design and construction standards. This is a Local 1245 represented classification and the successful candidate will be an integral part of the City’s Electric branch of the Utilities Department. More information can be found here.
Public Works Inspector
The Public Works Inspector inspects public works and developer—built projects, as well as projects in the City right of way, for conformance with City, state and industry plans, specifications, codes and contract provisions; ensures that required modifications are accomplished; performs related work as assigned. This is a Local 1245 represented classification and the successful candidate will be an integral part of the City’s Public Works branch of the Utilities Department. The Administrative Specialist will report to a Department Director, or a Division Manager providing responsible, confidential, complex and specialized office and administrative support to the assigned City department. The position performs professional level duties in one or more internal support areas, including contract administration; procurement; participation, organization and implementation of programs, implements improved office and departmental procedures and provides information to the public regarding the assigned programs and services. Incumbents assist in purchasing activities, program administration and research activities and perform related duties as assigned.
